Sagunto, Spain - April 26, 2025 On Saturday, firefighters from the Valencia Provincial Fire Consortium rescued a goat that was stuck on the beams of a bridge crossing over the N-340 in Sagunt. The rescue took place with the assistance of an aerial vehicle. The emergency call came at 1:23 p.m., and Sagunt firefighters, led by a sergeant, were dispatched at the request of the Sagunt Rural Guard, as reported by the authorities. The reasons behind the goat’s presence in this location were unknown, as well as whether it had an owner. Once safely lowered into the aerial vehicle's basket, the goat was in good condition and unharmed. The firefighters handed the animal over to the Sagunt Rural Guard, who took responsibility for it.
