US, Los Angeles: Claremont Tesla Catches Fire After Crashing Into Tree At High Speed 2 Fatalities Sound On Tape
Los Angeles, United States - April 28, 2025 04/28/2025 02:10 am GMT-0700 CLAREMONT, Calif. – Claremont police and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision with fire at East Sixth Street and Brooks Avenue. Upon arrival, officers and firefighters found a black Tesla engulfed in flames, with individuals trapped inside. The fire department reported one fatality at the scene, but the condition of any additional victims was initially unclear. A witness claimed the vehicle was traveling at high speed before crashing into the tree. Authorities have not yet determined if alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision. Claremont police have closed multiple streets as they investigate the fatal crash. Two fatalities were confirmed. (See Claremont Tesla story part 2)
