Climate activists attacked a Tesla office in New York.

Footage shows Extinction Rebellion activists vandalising the showroom - which houses environmentally friendly cars - on Tuesday, April 22.

Demonstrators said they were protesting against the company's CEO, 'First Buddy' Elon Musk and his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Protesters took spray cans and painted anti-Musk messages across the dealership's windows, including messages like 'We do not consent' and 'F*** DOGE'.

DOGE is actively working to reduce what it considers wasteful federal spending - potentially freeing up funds for environmental causes.

The two climate activists were taken into custody when police arrived at the scene.

The incident occurred on Earth Day, an annual observance focused on raising awareness and promoting environmental protection.
