This is the heartwarming moment a mechanic rescued a kitten trapped inside a motorcycle on a Thai highway.

The motorist had pulled over in Bangkok after spotting the feline sitting in front of a pickup truck.

As he tried to catch it, the frightened kitten darted into his motorcycle, squeezing into a narrow gap of the front interior.

Unable to safely pull the animal out, the driver brought the vehicle to a nearby repair shop.

Footage shows the mechanic gently retrieving the distressed kitten, which had become wedged among wires under the seat.

Upon successfully rescuing the animal, it sprinted away to safety, visibly terrified from what happened.

The cat reportedly did not sustain any injuries and was later adopted by the bike owner.
