About this video: We were told we’d never get pregnant naturally, and we had stopped IVF and our attempts at tracking after multiple losses - so we went back to having some good old fashioned, light hearted fun.

One night while making dinner I started to feel weird and really craved Campbell’s Soup tomato soup - always a comfort food of mine.

John nonchalantly tells me to take a test, and I thought he was crazy bc we weren’t actively trying, we weren’t seeing our fertility doctor at the moment, and my period wasn’t even late yet.

Through the years we have spent a lot of money on pregnancy tests - so we got smart and stocked up on Dollar Tree home pregnancy tests - and let me tell you - THEY WORK!

This was one of many pregnancy reveals to my husband throughout the years - his reaction never any less excited and optimistic with each one, despite our track record.

We always had hope, and trusted that the universe knew better than us. We promised that no matter what, we would make the very best out of any situation that were to come our way, but we were *really* hoping some little angel would hear our pleas and decide to stick around and meet us one day.


While we did conceive our twins naturally by some stroke of pure luck, we spent YEARS in the trenches of unexplained infertility, IVF, and reoccurring pregnancy loss.

Looking back, we can’t believe how we survived those years. There were a lot of tears and heartache, a lot of hormones, and a lot of really invasive procedures and testing that began to take a toll on my mental and emotional health.

Our last loss was just about a year ago, a baby boy. What started out as a healthy pregnancy ended in a slowing heartbeat, a sound I had to go back week after week and hear slow and inevitably stop, before the doctors could perform my fourth d&c.

We decided to stop for awhile after that. I wasn’t sure I could endure any more heartbreak, and I needed time to make myself whole again. I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue trying, I wasn’t ready to give up, and I began to grieve for the future we just might miss.

We started having discussions about what our future would like without children of our own. We looked into adoption and foster care and began exploring other options to build our family. We even discussed just living child free, although that left us both feeling empty and uninspired.

I can honestly say that the years have not felt kind, but through it all we just kept trying to remind ourselves that it will be okay - no matter what, it will be okay.

We let go, we leaned into acceptance and a commitment to make our lives happy and good no matter where the road would lead.

We made our videos just simply for ourselves. This gender reveal video was made to show our babies one day, as well as our families. We wanted something between just us. We were sooooo excited!!! I had gotten my results at a Doctor appt that morning and took them straight to the bakery to get cupcakes. I told the bakery - even if they are the same - we want two just do not tell us!! It was sweet eats in evesham nj. They were great! We waited alll day to find out - letting the excitement and anticipation build. I went to Dollar Tree and got fun baby decorations to make the reveal feel festive, and my husband and I got all dressed up and went to dinner, savoring the excitement and waiting until we got home that night to have the cupcakes for dessert.

This moment was honestly the best moment of our entire lives. We waiting a long time
For this - and there were many moments we’d wonder if it would ever happen. We are absolutely thrilled and grateful to have this chance to be mom and dad, and we vow to raise our babies with love, kindness, and help them become the best little humans who will do good in the world.
