This is the heartwarming moment a kind pharmacist gave free medicine to a struggling father of a toddler with a fever.

Footage shows the destitute dad nervously pacing outside the Ban Ya Look Moo pharmacy in Samut Sakhon, Thailand, on April 17.

Moments later, he entered the shop and explained to Aoffy, the pharmacy owner, that his four-year-old daughter had a fever, but he did not have money to buy medicine.

The pharmacist immediately provided the medicine free of charge. She reportedly asked for the child's weight and also gave instructions on how to use the medicine.

Aoffy said: 'I have a small shop but a big heart, so when the man told me that he didn't have any money, I did not hesitate to give it to them.'

The kindhearted pharmacist recalled that later that afternoon, the father returned with his child, who was feeling much better.

She added: 'He told me that he didn't come back to buy medicine but to thank me for what happened earlier.

'I gave the girl a pack of gummies before they left. I'm so happy today.'

The Ban Ya Look Moo pharmacy has been operating for about a year and has a history of helping people who struggle to afford medicine.

Aoffy has often given out medicine to those in need, believing that small acts of kindness go a long way.
