This is the dramatic moment a station guard rescued a child trapped between a train and a platform.

The toddler reportedly slipped through the gap as he tried to board the locomotive in Jiangsu, China.

His frantic mother immediately called security to save the stuck boy on November 4.

Footage captured by Mr Zhang shows the train crew member squeezing himself into the opening.

Moments later, the rescuer managed to pull the child to safety before crawling back up.

One of the workers can be seen carrying the visibly shaken victim to comfort him.

The toddler reportedly did not sustain any injuries from the incident.

The train management urged parents to strictly supervise their children to prevent such incidents from happening.
