Israel - April 30, 2025 Fire events – Police forces began evacuating residents of the front line in the Elad community. Evacuation operations also began for residents of the Mevo Horon community and the Canada Park area. The Minister of National Security, together with the Police Commissioner, the Jerusalem District Commander, representatives of the Commissioner of the Civil Defense, representatives of MDA and the Civil Defense, are currently conducting a joint situation assessment at the Joint Police Headquarters. The situation assessment focuses on the current situation of the wave of fires and the trends of fire spread, and the continued readiness of all forces in the field from all organizations, working side by side in cooperation with the aim of saving lives.
