Recently, in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, a large restaurant drew attention as its waitstaff were seen delivering dishes while riding hoverboards.

The servers, balancing expertly on hoverboards and carrying plates steadily with both hands, moved swiftly through the restaurant. Their graceful posture and skilled maneuvering significantly improved delivery efficiency.

According to the restaurant manager, the venue spans nearly 8,000 square meters, making traditional walking delivery inefficient. By using hoverboards, staff can shorten delivery times, maintain food temperature, and boost overall productivity.

To ensure safety, reflective mirrors have been installed in blind spots throughout the restaurant. New employees must undergo one month of specialised training and pass an assessment before starting. Those who master hoverboard delivery also receive higher wages than regular servers.
