This is the heartwarming moment a kind mother shared her picnic with a struggling family she noticed at a park.

Bea Melanie Azucenas and her relatives packed a feast, which they spread out on a table and in a tent, to celebrate Easter Sunday in Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines.

However, they saw a homeless family gathered around a tree nearby, so they thought of giving them a plate.

Footage shows Bea putting noodles, spring rolls, and rice cakes into a paper container before heading over to the couple with two kids.

Bea said: 'We were celebrating Easter. We saw this family together, yet they had no food to share.

'We couldn't even take a bite knowing they were glancing at us as we ate and enjoyed our meal.

'Sharing a full plate of food with them, and seeing their big smiles in return, was truly heartwarming.

'I just want to show the world that humanity still exists.'

The random act of kindness happened on April 10 afternoon.
