US Coast Guard continues search for missing kayaker, 42, off coast of Hawaii
US Coast Guard personnel continued their search for a missing kayaker off the coast of Hawaii.
The 42-year-old holidaymaker disappeared after his kayak was found adrift and unmanned on April 27.
Emergency responders launched the search after receiving the report. Officials said the kayak was spotted about 400 yards from shore.
Footage shows the HC-130 Hercules aeroplane crew from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point deployed to assist in the search effort.
The Coast Guard said it is working closely with local agencies to locate the missing individual in the surrounding waters.
