Dashcam footage from another car shows the vehicle driving down a street and approaching an intersection when the cyclist unexpectedly appears on its right.
The rider crosses the road in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, seemingly without checking for traffic, just as a small blue lorry turns into the street.
He slams into the truck and is knocked off his bicycle as the video clip ends.
Local media reported that an ambulance was called to the scene, though it remains unclear what injuries the cyclist sustained in the incident on Wednesday, April 23.
