Builders performed a group stretching session before starting their day at a construction site.

Footage shows workers lined up according to the colours of their uniforms at an open area beneath an unfinished building in Manila, the Philippines.

They were led by engineers and foremen at the front as they jogged in place and leaned their arms forward.

The team also did arm curls and rotated their waists to warm up before tackling on manual labour.

Resident Lou Gocong, who was watching them from a nearby building, said: 'They always do some morning stretching before starting the day.'

Aside from working out collectively, they chanted un unison, adding energy and rhythm to the exercise session.

The workers' morning routine happened on April 9.
