US, Los Angeles: Downtown Los Angeles LAPD Takes Barricaded Suspect Into Custody
Los Angeles, United States - April 30, 2025 04/30/2025 01:00 am GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department's Central officers requested LAPD Metropolitan Division to 7th and San Julian for a barricaded suspect. Officers arrived, and two hours later, they were able to take the suspect into custody. It is unknown what the suspect was wanted for at this time (possibly a disturbance call, then the suspect drew a knife on the reporting party). Officers used flash bangs and other tools to get the suspect to surrender, who was then taken into custody without any further incident. No details were given at the scene.
