A family greeted their cousin at the airport with cold beer and crisps as she returned home after six years.

The playful cousins waited at the arrival area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, the Philippines, for Karen who had been working in the United States.

Footage shows the youngsters rushing back into the car when they saw Karen approaching.

They took a glass with ice, poured some beverage into it and asked their older relative to take the shot.

She then took a bite of their favourite cheese-flavoured potato snack and hugged each other at the parking lot on April 28.

Cousin Liz Ibona said: 'We welcomed Karen with a glass of beer and chips. She works abroad and only comes home occasionally.

'We would have parties when she's with us as our family bonding.'
