Paraglider lands on busy motorway crossing in China
This is the shocking moment a paraglider lands on a busy motorway crossing in China.
Dramatic footage shows the extreme sports enthusiast slowly descending onto the Chaoyang Bridge in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, on April 25.
A car is forced to swerve to avoid hitting her as she touches down around 2:30 pm, while other vehicles appear to steer around her just in time.
Local media reported that the woman landed safely and was not injured.
She was seen waving at motorists repeatedly to signal her presence and encourage them to slow down and change lanes.
It remains unclear what led her to land on the bridge.
One witness told local media: 'I don't know if there was a problem with her parachute. I guess something went wrong, and she had to make an emergency landing.
'Why would she land on the bridge unless it was absolutely necessary? The Chaoyang Bridge is quite high, and there is the Gan River below.'
Police said they were not investigating the incident and had not received any reports or complaints.
