Tyre explodes while being inflated by mechanic
This is the shocking moment a tyre exploded while being inflated by a mechanic in Indonesia.
Footage shows the worker holding the hose and filling the wheel with air when it suddenly blew out, narrowly missing the repairman's face, in his garage.
The vehicle technician mentioned that the air pressure had not even reached 40 PSI when the tyre burst.
Typically, a light commercial truck tyre should be inflated to between 50 and 80 PSI.
The elderly man, still in shock, is seen sitting on the ground but appears to have escaped uninjured in the incident in Karanganyar, Central Java, on April 25.
