Twinsburg Firefighters proved once again they’re ready for any type of rescue—even those involving tiny webbed feet. The Tower 1 crew responded to the Cleveland Clinic parking lot after an alert citizen noticed a distressed mother duck and discovered several ducklings had fallen through a storm water grate.

Fire/medic Nate Rowan and Fire/medic Morgan Powers safely retrieved the ducklings, handing them off one by one before reuniting them with their very animated and grateful mother.

Twinsburg Fire highlighted the rescue on their Facebook page, reminding the public that their crews are trained and equipped to respond to all kinds of emergencies—even feathered ones.
