Footage shows the popular tourist destination Kempty Falls pouring through a dramatic surge after relentless rainfall in Uttarakhand on Sunday, May 4.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecast fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, affecting several areas from Sunday through Saturday, including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
Authorities have urged residents to stay indoors and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety amid the freak weather.
