Estate agent addresses £2m penthouse property ad to Will & Kate - "fit for a king"
An estate agent is advertising a stunning £2m North London penthouse "fit for a King" directly to Prince William and Princess Kate - littered with royal puns."
News emerged earlier this year that the royals were looking to send Prince George to a school in North London.
So one estate agent has capitalised on it - by advertising a stunning £2m NW3 penthouse flat directly to the them.
The flat, located in Belsize Village, boasts a private lift and panoramic views of the London skyline.
The advertisement, shared on Rightmove by KIRE estate agent, reads: "Dear William and Kate, we heard on the grapevine that you're considering"
putting George into a North London School —great choice.
"Of course, you'll soon also want to move to this wonderful part of London due to its stunning architecture, fantastic parks, and world-class Estate Agent, KIRE, who are on a mission to make the area the happiest place to live in the UK."
"Oh, did I mention the "HEIR" is great up here?!"
The advertisement describes the property as "fit for a king" and the penthouse on the top floor "reflects [their] position in British society"
It reads: "We have just the p(a)lace for you! (...)"
"It is a "majestic" home to live in "reign" or shine. (...)"
"Being so famous, you will no doubt be sick of stares, and luckily, in this lateral three-bedroom property, there are no stairs.(...)"
"With two beautifully appointed bathrooms, there is a throne for each of you, when the time calls. (...)"
"Also, with London's finest schools at your doorstep, your children can choose to be the class jesters but won't become fools."
Michael McHale, who is managing the sale of the property, signed off the open letter "from the Prince of Sales to the Prince of Wales"."
KIRE co-founder Michael, 40, said: "I thought it might be fun and different when I heard they were looking at schools here."
"A lot of people think when people are shopping for high end and luxury, they lose their sense of humour."
"But that's not true - so I got my creative juices flowing and the puns started rolling."
The quirky advertisement describes the property, with the postcode NW3 5QT, as "fit for a King."
Michael says the advertisement has indeed gained significant interest.
So although the estate agents have yet to hear from the Royals themselves, Michael said it's all been worthwhile.
He added: "If they got to know this part of London well, I imagine they would most certainly want to live here."
