United States - May 02, 2025 Cape Flattery, Washington –On May 2, 2025, an aircrew from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Port Angeles hoisted a 54-year-old man from the cruise ship Norwegian Bliss. The man was experiencing stroke-like symptoms and required urgent medical attention. The rescue took place near Cape Flattery, off the coast of Washington. Air Station Port Angeles is the oldest continuously operating air station in the U.S. Coast Guard.
