Deputies Chase Loose Bird in Bizarre Bay County, Florida Call
PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Bay County deputies responded to an unusual call Friday night involving a loose bird on the run, but the feathered suspect managed to evade capture.
Deputies were seen in body camera footage chasing the bird through the area, but their efforts came up short. The animal remains at large.
ZooWorld, a local wildlife attraction, later confirmed the bird does not belong to them, leaving officials and residents with more questions than answers.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office did not identify the bird species and said the mystery remains unsolved.
