A bus full of passengers experienced brake problems, causing the vehicle with the ALS (Antar Lintas Sumatera) brand to overturn. The bus was traveling from Bukittinggi City to Padang. When it arrived at the location, the bus was out of control. The bus full of passengers overturned. Two people died and dozens of others were injured.
