Jerusalem, Israel - May 05, 2025 Protest near government offices in Jerusalem – Suspect arrested for disturbing the peace For the past two hours, a protest has been taking place near the government offices in Jerusalem. Police forces and Border Guard soldiers are working to secure participants, maintain public order, direct traffic, and escort a procession that left earlier from the Jerusalem String Bridge toward the government complex. Some of the protest participants began to disrupt public order near the Bank of Israel complex, disobeying the instructions of the police officers on site, creating provocations and clashing with police officers. Following this, a police officer issued a notice of disorderly conduct and ordered them to continue their march to the designated protest area. When they did not comply, the police, together with Border Guard soldiers, acted to repel them, and in the process, a suspect was detained for questioning following an attack on a policewoman.
