Los Angeles, United States - May 06, 2025 05/06/2025 12:48 am GMT-0700 GARDENA, Calif. - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are investigating a shooting that left one person dead early Tuesday morning in Gardena. Deputies from the South Los Angeles Station responded to reports of gunfire around 12:45 a.m. in the 14700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, near 154th Street, officials said. One male victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to a statement from the Sheriff's Department. During the preliminary investigation, law enforcement placed more than a dozen evidence markers in the roadway. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Gardena Police Department also responded to the scene. No further details were immediately available.
