This is the dramatic moment a worker leaped from a truck as it burst into flames.

Two lorries were navigating a road when they struck low-hanging high-voltage wires in Guangxi Zhuang, China, on April 11.

Dashcam footage shows one of the vehicles halting off the roadside after realising its raised container had snagged the power lines.

One construction worker can be seen assisting the second truck to steer clear to the opposite side of the road, while the leading truck moved forward—triggering a sudden electrical spark.

Moments later, electricity from the live wires surged through the vehicle, with bolts of current and fire visibly flashing around the engine and tyres.

Upon witnessing the danger, the driver leapt out of the cab and rolled onto the motorway as the blazing eight-wheeler continued to move on its own.

The worker reportedly escaped without any injuries.
