The newly opened "Museum of Survivors" occupies part of the former Low-Beer factory, a textile plant confiscated by the Nazis in 1938. The restored building, now a memorial and educational center, was inaugurated by Daniel Low-Beer, a British descendant of the original owners, who spearheaded the preservation project. The museum chronicles the lives of Holocaust survivors who worked under Schindler’s protection after he relocated his enamelware factory to Brnenec (known in German as Brünnlitz) in 1944. Through personal testimonies, photographs, and artifacts, the exhibition seeks to honor their resilience and ensure their stories are passed to future generations. The site adds to Czechia’s Holocaust remembrance efforts, joining landmarks like Prague’s Jewish Quarter and the Terezin Memorial.
