VARIOUS OF PROTESTERS MARCHING, HOLDING ISRAELI FLAGS, BANNERS, PHOTOGRAPHS OF HOSTAGES, SHOUTING SLOGANS, SOUNDING HORNS, GIVING SPEECHES WHILE DEMANDING END OF WAR IN GAZA AND RELEASE OF HOSTAGES HAIFA, ISRAEL - MAY 10: Hundreds of Israeli protesters gathered in the northern city of Haifa on Saturday, May 10, calling for an immediate end to the war in Gaza and the release of all Israeli hostages held in the enclave. The demonstrators marched from the Carmel neighborhood to the Horev Center, joined by relatives of hostages and other supporters. During the march, civil society activists urged the Israeli government to end its military campaign and secure the full release of captives. As of Saturday, at least 52,810 Palestinians have died in Israel's genocidal war on Gaza since October 2023, according to the health ministry of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing 2,701 people and injuring 7,432 others, breaking a ceasefire and prisoner-exchange agreement that started in January. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza.
