Beaver moves his plate to a better spot for lunch
This is the amusing moment a clever beaver adjusts his plate to a more suitable spot before digging into lunch.
Footage shows the hungry semi-aquatic rodent named Hudson repositioning his food bowl at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Washington on May 8.
The zoo officials said: 'The original bowl placement was unacceptable, so he fixed it. Now he's enjoying his hard-earned snacks like the refined gentleman he is.'
Beavers are primarily herbivores, consuming tree bark, twigs, leaves, and aquatic plants. They are known for their problem-solving abilities and complex dam-building behaviour, which demonstrate a high level of environmental adaptability.
