Unicyclist overtakes cars but then crashes into lamppost
A unicyclist overtaking cars on a suburban street lost control as his single-wheel vehicle collided with a lamppost.
Footage shows the single-wheel rider standing on the unicycle while weaving through traffic before sitting down to accelerate and speeding past several vehicles.
Moments later, he suddenly slips sideways, and the one-wheeled vehicle crashes into a lamppost, sending the mono-wheel rider skidding along the road.
The car he had just overtaken is seen braking hard and pulling over to avoid hitting him, as he was not wearing protective gear or a helmet in St. Petersburg, Russia.
It remains unclear whether he was injured in the incident on May 4.
