Los Angeles, United States - May 11, 2025 05/11/2025 02:12 am GMT-0700 SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles firefighters and police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a KIA and a parked RV along Foothill Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered one man trapped inside the KIA. Firefighters began the extrication process and found that the man had sustained a gunshot wound to the arm before the crash. The preliminary investigation suggests that the shooting may have occurred on the freeway. The injured man was transported to Holy Cross Medical Center for treatment. Additionally, one occupant inside the RV was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The LAPD's Mission Division and the California Highway Patrol's Newhall office are handling the investigation.
