Los Angeles, United States - May 11, 2025 05/11/2025 03:47 pm GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Water spewed into the air after a vehicle slammed into a fire hydrant and fled the scene. The incident occurred shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Newhall Avenue, east of Pine Street in the city of Santa Clarita’s Newhall community. Los Angeles County firefighters from Fire Station 126 got a break from the ongoing heatwave as they worked to remove the cap covering the hydrant’s valve and successfully cut water off from the severed pipe. Drone footage featured here has been reviewed and verified by Key News Network LLC. This aerial UAV footage is in compliance with, and conform to, FAA Part 107 guidelines.
