Zoo goers were left in stitches when a lion sniffed a lioness's behind before appearing to break into a goofy smile.

A mother visiting was recording at Topeka Zoo, Kansas, when the hilarious interaction happened.

"You won’t believe what this lion did," said the filmer.

"While chaperoning my son’s school field trip to the zoo, we stopped by the lion enclosure, and I just happened to start recording at the perfect time. One lion casually walks up and sniffs another lion’s butt… and then suddenly breaks out into the biggest, goofiest smile you’ve ever seen!
