Tourist rescues cat with paw stuck on rug outside hotel
This is the heartwarming moment a tourist rescued a cat whose paw was stuck on a rug outside a hotel.
Beau Dacanay, 26, and her friendS spotted the stray moggy struggling to free its claw from a black mat draped over a railing in Manila, the Philippines.
Footage shows Beau gently pulling the rug to help the distressed feline on May 11.
Moments later, the cat managed to yank its paw free by bracing its left leg against the pavement and pulling away as the holidaymaker continued tugging the doormat.
It then casually walked off as if nothing had happened.
Beau said she was hesitant to touch the cat directly out of fear of being scratched, so she opted to help by tugging the rug instead.
