What was meant to be a peaceful Mother’s Day quickly turned into a heated confrontation at St. Joseph Parish, leaving vendors confused and frustrated.

Edith and her mother had been selling outside the church with permission from another priest when a different priest arrived aggressively, yelling at them to leave and calling the police. He allegedly prevented buyers from purchasing from them and even announced after Mass that no one should support their booth.

With other vendors present and the situation escalating, confusion grew over why they weren’t allowed to sell, despite prior approval.

Mi mamá y yo estábamos vendiendo afuera de la iglesia con el permiso de el otro padre y este padre llegó totalmente agresivo que no teníamos permiso de estar vendiendo y se puso a que nadien nos comprara y les dijo al terminar la misa que no nos comprara nadien
