Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu, Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov, Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov, and National Guard Commander Viktor Zolotov attended the meeting. Putin has approved the Russian delegation for the Istanbul talks, which will be led by his advisor Vladimir Medinskiy. The delegation includes Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Chief of the General Staff Main Directorate Igor Kostyukov, and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin. The Russia-Ukraine talks in Istanbul are scheduled for Thursday, May 15. Further details about the agenda of the talks have not yet been disclosed.
