Los Angeles, United States - May 15, 2025 05/14/2025 10:04 pm GMT-0700 VERMONT-SLAUSON, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Division responded to a three-car crash Wednesday morning that was reported to include a possible shooting. Initially, LAFD was instructed to stage outside the scene while officers assessed the area for safety. Upon their arrival, officers found no victims of a shooting present at the site. They did, however, identify several suspects who fled the scene in a white sedan, possibly a BMW. Once the scene was deemed safe, firefighters were cleared to enter. They transported one male patient from the crash to a local medical facility. Crews also worked to shut off a sheared fire hydrant and discovered a light pole that had been knocked over during the incident. The LAPD's 77th Division is handling the investigation.
