Guam - May 16, 2025 An MH-60 Knighthawk helicopter crew from U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 hoisted a mariner from the 47-foot motor vessel Lucky Harvest at approximately 9:30 a.m. on May 16, 2025. The dramatic rescue took place about 125 nautical miles west of Guam, with coordination between Navy and Coast Guard units. A U.S. Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules airplane from Air Station Barbers Point in Hawai’i maintained visual contact with the vessel during the operation. The USCGC Myrtle Hazard (WPC 1139) later arrived on scene, rescued a second mariner, and took the Lucky Harvest under tow. The vessel is now en route to Guam under Coast Guard escort.
