Jackson, United States - May 14, 2025 Police investigated the theft of a trail camera in New Hampshire after reviewing footage that revealed the suspect was a bear. The Jackson Police Department shared video on social media showing a bear trying to steal the camera using its teeth and claws. Another bear was seen watching nearby. “This morning we received a report of a camera theft in town,” police said. “Fortunately, the suspect was caught on the camera in the act. Does anyone recognize this suspect? He was described as wearing all black and it occurred in the early morning hours. (Very suspicious).” Police invited local “junior detectives” to assist with the case. “This kind of conduct is unbearable,” the post joked.
