The Bulbul Stream burst its banks following intense rainfall that began around noon in Kadirli and Sumbas districts. Floodwaters carried away at least eight parked vehicles in Kadirli, with seven vehicles subsequently recovered by emergency teams. Anadolu footage shows the powerful currents dragging cars through the inundated streambed. Agricultural lands in the area were completely submerged by the rising waters. Search and rescue operations continued Thursday evening for one remaining vehicle still unaccounted for. Municipal crews successfully towed seven recovered automobiles to a secure location at a local government facility.
