In a statement on X, Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s current priority is to achieve a full 30-day ceasefire, which would serve as “a foundation for diplomacy” amid ongoing conflict with Russia. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional energy security and the impact of recent European elections on political developments across the continent. “I thank Maia Sandu and all the people of Moldova for their support of Ukraine and their readiness to continue moving shoulder to shoulder with us in the European integration process,” Zelenskyy said.
