This is the shocking moment a pickup truck strikes a concrete post, sending its cargo of metal rods scattering across the highway.

Footage shows a three-wheeled vehicle turning onto the road when a speeding pickup truck suddenly appears in Chaiyaphum, Thailand.

The pickup driver then swerves in an attempt to avoid a collision but loses control, crashing directly into the pole on its right side.

The force of the impact sends the bars flying off the truck, spilling violently across the ground. A few rods also hit a parked car nearby, causing additional damage.

Both drivers quickly disembark from their vehicles to assess the situation and ensure everyone is safe.

Upon hearing the loud crash, the homeowner also rushes outside to see what happened.

No one was injured in the incident on April 17. An investigation is currently underway.
