A wild goat was seen navigating a rocky 400ft high cliff face in China.

Footage shows the hoofed mammal skillfully climbing down a ridiculously steep slope at Huashan Mountain in Weinan, Shaanxi on December 26.

It did not show any sign of struggling as seen by a visitor riding a cable car from afar.

The wild goats found on Mount Huashan, one of China's sacred mountains, are adapted to rugged terrains, including Siberian ibex and other species.
