An alligator was found resting underground in a sewer pipe during an inspection in Florida.

Footage shows the reptile chilling in the concrete pipe with its body partially submerged in flowing water in Oviedo on May 14.

The animal crawled forward as the remote-controlled camera, used to check for cracks and leaks, followed behind.

City authorities said: 'You loved him the first time around, and now he's back!

'We did a routine check of the pipe under Lockwood Boulevard and discovered our friend was back, just chilling. Also, the pipes are good. No leaks.'

An alligator was also spotted in the same pipe in 2023, but officials said they were unsure whether the recent sighting involved the same animal from two years ago.
