Marigold the Skunk Camps Out to Teach Wildlife Safety
EATONVILLE, Wash. — Marigold the skunk pitched her tiny tent at Bear Camp on May 17, helping guests at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park learn how to camp safely around wildlife.
The curious ambassador animal explored her campsite while staff shared tips on how to keep outdoor spaces clean and critter-safe.
“Marigold is the perfect reminder to store food properly and respect wild spaces,” park naturalists said.
Northwest Trek regularly features ambassador animals like Marigold to educate visitors about conservation and coexistence with native species.
