Tornado damages homes and shops in Bloomington, Indiana
Footage shows the aftermath of a tornado that struck Bloomington, Indiana, on Friday, May 16.
Homes and businesses near to Clear Creek bore the brunt of the force. A number of them suffered severe damage with roofs torn off and walls collapsed.
The towns post office suffered severe damage.
Dozens of trees across the area were also uprooted by the tornado, which the National Weather Service said carried an EF-2 force with winds of up to 135mph.
Kentucky also experienced tornadoes that led to more than 18 deaths.
