Mother has surprise homecoming on daughter's graduation day
A mother made a surprise homecoming reunion, surprising her daughter on her graduation day.
Mum Nona, 33, has been working in Kuwait and flew to Batangas, the Philippines, to be with her Zhaizhai, 12, on the special occasion.
Footage shows Nona walking towards Zhaizhai, who was behind the long queue of pupils on April 14.
Nona hugged her kid, who burst into tears upon seeing her mother, whom she did not expect to be there for the event.
Nona said: 'They thought I could not come because I had some errands to do, but I was able to book a flight at the last minute and arrived in the morning.'
The pair cried in happiness and waited for Zhaizhai's turn to take her diploma onstage.
