A woman captured the moment a bird pooped - on her face.

Time Olorunnimbe, 19, was recording a video on the way to buy snacks from a shop when the bird struck.

Time initially thought it was rain, until she tasted something "sweet and disgusting" and realised what had happened."

Video shows Time flipping the camera to film herself, just as bird droppings land directly on her face.

Time, a student from Cardiff, Wales, UK said: "I was so shocked. "

"I licked my lips and noticed something weird. "

"It was sweet but so disgusting."

"I stopped the video, looked at my phone and just saw white stuff. "

"That's when I knew a bird had shat on me."

Despite the grim moment, she now sees it as a stroke of good fortune.

Time said: "At the time, I thought it was a sign Cardiff was a bad place. It was only my first month living here."

"But now I feel like it actually was good luck because my video went viral."
