Phoenix, United States - May 19, 2025 05/18/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0700 WICKENBURG, Ariz. – First responders were dispatched to U.S. 60 at Mile Post 114 Westbound after a serious collision involving two vehicles. Around 11:00 p.m., when units arrived, they discovered both vehicles sustained severe damage and multiple individuals were injured, some suffering from critical injuries. Command ordered two medical helicopters to the scene for transport, as the location was in a remote area. At least one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities instituted a hard closure 15 miles before the crash site. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident while they await the arrival of the Maricopa Medical Examiner's Office. No further details have been released at this time.
