This is the moment firefighters carefully removed a tin can stuck on a baby's head.

North Jakarta Fire Department officers were called when the youngster's parents were unable to free the child themselves in Indonesia.

He had been playing with his siblings when the container was somehow forced over him and became wedged.

Footage shows the volunteers focused on cutting the empty food can.

One of them used scissors to cut through one side and widen the hole, while another held it firmly for the child.

His mum was holding her son wrapped in a towel while he cried loudly from panicking on May 8.

Firefighter Fikri Naufal said: 'He was playing in the bath with other kids. They used the container to dip water.

'Their mother and father tried to remove it themselves, but it was stuck, so they called us for help.'

Soon after, the baby was freed without injuries.

Everyone at the house, including relatives and neighbours, cheered for the officers for a job well done.
